Terms of use

1. What this covers

These terms govern the use of heldt-biochar.fr. Browsing the site means
accepting them. They may change; the version online at the time of your
visit is the one that applies.

The site is published by Morgan Heldt, whose details appear in the
legal notice.

2. What the site is

An informational site about biochar and about the work of Heldt Biochar.
It is free to consult, requires no account, and sells nothing: there is
no shop, no online payment and no ordering system.

3. Availability

I try to keep the site reachable and current, without promising it will
be. Access may be interrupted for maintenance, technical failure, or
reasons outside my control, with no notice and no compensation.

4. The content, and its limits

The information published here is offered in good faith and reflects what
I understand at the time of writing. Figures on biochar (carbon content,
surface area, yields, permanence, tonnes of CO₂e) are typical published
ranges. Real values vary widely with feedstock, pyrolysis conditions, and
the soil the material ends up in.

None of it is agronomic, financial, legal or regulatory advice, and no
result is guaranteed. Decisions you take on the basis of this site are
yours. For anything that matters, check against a current source or a
qualified professional.

5. Intellectual property

The texts, images, logo, design and source code of the site belong to
Morgan Heldt unless stated otherwise, and are protected by copyright.

You may read the site, print pages for personal use, and quote short
passages provided you name the source and link to the page. Any other
reuse (republishing an article, commercial use, adapting the design or
the code) requires prior written permission.

6. Links

Linking to this site is welcome and needs no permission, provided the
link does not suggest an association or endorsement that does not exist,
and does not frame the pages inside another site.

Links leaving this site point to pages I do not control and am not
responsible for.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to attempt to disrupt the site, gain unauthorised access to
it, extract its content by automated means for republication, or use it
in any way contrary to French law.

8. Personal data

The site sets cookies only if you accept them in the cookie banner. What
happens when you write to me, which third parties see anything, and how
to change your cookie choice, is set out in the
privacy notice.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be
settled amicably falls to the competent French courts.
